it’s four years later and i’m still mad these scenes were played back to back in the trailer intentionally and deliberately in a way that: A.) implied things that weren’t gonna happen and B.) made the former scene that much more uncomfortable to me when it didn’t get addressed again.
they knew exactly what they were doing. We all know they did it to get fans riled up and it worked. But then they had the gall to turn around and say there was nothing whatsoever to get worked up about and called their own fans crazy. OKAY THEN, I GUESS YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND HOW TRAILERS WORK?? You were supposed to pick the things you wanted to spotlight. Of the scenes you chose, not all of them were necessary and cut scening your own endgame like that was beyond stupid.
yo when you have no less than SIX scenes of a duo who is supposed to not like each other working together and only one of your canon pair when the girl looks massively uncomfortable you might want to rethink how you cut your trailers. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]

So it seems the Avatar: The Last Airbender fandom on Reddit has put forth a little charity challenge.
Of course, I simply cannot resist a little friendly competition. So here’s what the challenge entails:
Though the entire competition will have several ways to participate, the initial phase will involve the World Community Grid. The WCG is a distributed computing project, which allows users to invest their unused computing power toward solving important, world-impacting problems. This part of the competition will last the longest, starting right now and lasting until Sunday the 16th of September.
In brief, to participate:
1. Make a new account on the WCG website. Choose projects, and select if you wish to use your GPU as well as your CPU. EDIT: To sign up and join a team simultaneously, use the following links for team Benders or for team Bronies.2. Download and install the software. Make sure it’s associated with the WCG.3. On the WCG website, make sure you are joinied up with either the Benders team or the Bronies team.4. Let the Boinc manager run, and rack up computation time for your team!In the coming weeks, we will unveil two additional aspects of the Benders vs. Bronies competition, which will entail a charity drive and an art contest (With the art contest to be judged by the reddit admins themselves). The specifics of these endeavors will be revealed when the time is right, but until then, please sign up for the WCG and let’s get this party started!
So what’s to come out of this? Well, three things:
1. Whoever comes out ahead in the contest will be allowed to create the reddit header logo for the entire site for a day, plus the privilege of replacing a sidebar ad in the same manner! There will also be additional prizes given out at the subreddit level for all those who participate in any event.
But who cares about that? Here’s the part that we’re really concerned about about:
